As some of you know, the auto tranny said "enough of this abuse" and called it quits. So...in goes a manual :D Next time that I have the privilege of wheeling with you all, I'll be grinding the gears with a huge grin on my face

Welcome to the dark side. Now you just need to give it round eyes and the transformation will be complete.

Started the conversion tonight. :D Pulled apart the dash of the 62 to remove the pedal bucket, about 3 hours of removing bolts I had no idea existed in the first place. Tomorrow I start on the 60, doing the same thing to get the pedal bucket out of that. Then install that one in the 62 to see where i need to drill hole for the clutch master cylinder on the firewall.

I decided to put some speed on this project to hopefully beet whatever snow we shall receive. Bad enough I am doing it in the rain.

I'll post some pics tomorrow when i get some daylight.

Continued this morning in my "garage" . Ended up using a hacksaw to cut part of the dash on the 60 so I wouldnt have to lower the hole dash to get this out. Interesting to see how the hole pattern differs from pre '85 to '85 and after, wonder why they changed. The rest of the bucket is the same, we'll see how she mates up to the firewall.

More progress tonight. Installed the 60 pedal bucket and put the dash back together. Also installed the clutch master cylinder. In the morning I will install all 3!!!! pedals and then work on swapping transmission humps.
